Tammy was born and raised in Madison. She graduated from Madison Area Technical College with her judicial reporting degree in 1998 and began her career reporting for the court commissioners in both Dane and Rock counties. In 2002, she took the leap into providing closed captioning for the hearing impaired for a variety of television networks including CNN, ESPN, and NBC to name only a few. After 15 years of captioning, she decided it was time for a change and joined the amazing team at FTR .
Tammy is a member of the National Court Reporters Association. She is also a member of the Wisconsin Court Reporter Association where she served on the board of directors for several years. She holds the designation of Registered Professional Reporter, Certified Realtime Captioner, and Certified Realtime Reporter.
Tammy is married and has three children. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, attending her children’s sporting events, running, and cycling.
